Precautions

Caution is required when administering this medication to women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as daily doses of more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A may cause congenital malformations. Patients with hypersensitivity to any included ingredients or hemophilia should not be given this medication. Patients with hypercalcemia or impaired kidney function may have their condition worsened by the vitamin D contained in this medication, so blood and urine tests should be performed before administration, and administration should be stopped in case of abnormalities. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children under 11 years of age, so administration should be done cautiously, and patients with allergies or a history of drug hypersensitivity also require caution. In case of overdose, hypersensitive reactions or severe allergic reactions related to vitamins A and D can occur, so if symptoms appear, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be sought. Long-term use may lead to the accumulation of vitamins A and D in the body, so regular testing is recommended. There may be interactions with certain drugs, so caution is advised when taken with acetazolamide, chlorothiazide sodium, hydrochloride tetracycline, alkali solutions, calcium salts, vitamin K, levodopa, etc. Pregnant or nursing women should take appropriate doses according to expert guidance due to the risk of side effects from excessive vitamin intake. Elderly patients may have reduced body functions, so caution is required in dose adjustment. This medication may affect clinical test results, potentially leading to false-negative results in tests for glucose detection, urinalysis, and fecal occult blood tests, so this should be informed during testing. The medication should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining medication should not be used, as it contains light-sensitive ingredients and needs to be stored in a shaded manner. Do not inject the undiluted concentrate directly, and when mixed with amino acid intravenous solutions, it should be used within 8 hours. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid freezing, and refrigerate for safety. Transferring the medication to another container from the original container poses risks of quality deterioration and misuse, so it must be stored in the original container.
