This medication alleviates symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux. It is also effective for indigestion caused by the reflux of gastric contents, especially after meals or during pregnancy, and in cases accompanied by reflux esophagitis. This helps reduce discomfort experienced in daily life and improves digestive health. It is used for the improvement of these symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 10 to 20 mL at a time, 4 times a day (after meals and before bedtime).

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Individuals with poor cardiac function or kidney problems who need to restrict sodium intake should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, it is important for individuals with high calcium levels in the blood or who frequently develop calcium stones in the kidneys to consult a professional before taking this medication. Children under the age of 12 should not take this medication without special instructions from a doctor. If symptoms such as itching, difficulty breathing, or severe allergic reactions occur during use, immediately stop taking the medication and consult medical personnel. Caution is required, as exceeding the recommended dosage may lead to abnormally high calcium levels in the blood or side effects such as constipation. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than 7 days, be sure to consult a doctor. In case of overdose, visit a hospital immediately for treatment, and some patients may experience abdominal distension. This medication contains calcium carbonate, so it is advisable to space it at least 2 hours apart from other medications when taken together.
