This medication is used to treat hypertension. It is particularly helpful in preventing and treating kidney disease in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes. How to take

Adult dose

This medication can be taken without regard to meals, but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day. For hypertension, the initial and maintenance dosage is recommended to be 50 mg orally once daily as Losartan Potassium. This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, and should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant.
