Amlodipine (S-Amlodipine) is used for the treatment of hypertension and stable angina due to coronary occlusion, as well as variant angina caused by vasospasm. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients without heart failure or with a cardiac output of more than 40%, and helps decrease the risk that can occur during coronary artery revascularization. Atorvastatin is effective in reducing the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, vascular revascularization, and angina in adults at risk for cardiovascular diseases, as well as in patients with type 2 diabetes. It also reduces the incidence of non-fatal myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with clinical evidence of coronary artery disease and decreases the risk of hospitalization due to heart failure. This medication plays an adjunctive role in controlling cholesterol and lipid levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, and is also used in the treatment of various forms of dyslipoproteinemia. The two drugs play an essential role in the management and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, effectively improving patients' conditions.
