This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by single therapy with amlodipine or valsartan. It effectively lowers blood pressure, reduces the stress on blood vessels, and helps prevent cardiovascular complications. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of hypertensive patients who need appropriate blood pressure management.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is one tablet taken once daily, with or without food, and it is advised to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning).

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so its use is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to any component of this drug, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment, and those with certain heart diseases should not take this medication.
