This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; thus, it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Additionally, it should not be used by patients with known allergies to its components, severe kidney or liver disease, or certain heart conditions. Patients with sodium or fluid depletion may experience hypotension, so their condition should be carefully monitored before and during use, including blood pressure monitoring. Patients with hyperkalemia who take this medication alongside drugs that can raise potassium levels should have their potassium levels frequently checked. Patients with renal artery stenosis or those who have recently undergone kidney transplantation should closely monitor kidney function while taking this medication. Dizziness or fatigue may occur during operation of vehicles or machinery, so caution is required. This medication may impact kidney function or electrolyte balance when used in combination with other antihypertensive drugs, and regular check-ups should be conducted per the physician's instructions. Moreover, patients with compromised liver function may require dosage adjustments, and overdose may lead to hypotension or cardiac issues requiring immediate emergency treatment.
