This medication is used for various skin problems, including wound or burn injuries, lacerations, pressure sores, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, and skin ulcers. It also has adjunctive therapeutic effects for diaper rash and sunburn due to sun exposure. Particularly, it may help with small wounds such as nipple fissures during breastfeeding. It is used to aid in the treatment and recovery of diverse skin injuries.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

After cleaning the wound, apply 1-2 times a day to the affected area. For nipple fissures during breastfeeding, apply immediately after each feeding.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this drug or its excipients in the past. Moreover, patients with infectious skin diseases or exudative skin conditions should avoid using this medication. Caution should be exercised to avoid contact with the eyes when using this medication. If the ointment is applied to cracked nipples while breastfeeding, it must be cleaned off before breastfeeding.
