Treatment of idiopathic Parkinson's disease

  • Idiopathic Parkinson's disease
  • motor fluctuation symptoms
View approved original text

This medicine is used to treat idiopathic Parkinson's disease. Initially, it is administered alone or in combination with dopamine agonists to alleviate symptoms. It also helps improve symptoms when motor abilities decline, especially during 'end of dose fluctuations' when the effect of the medication decreases, by being used in conjunction with levodopa. This is utilized to effectively manage motor impairments in Parkinson's disease patients.
