This medication helps improve various gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms such as heartburn, gastric discomfort, and feeling of fullness due to excessive stomach acid. It is also effective for symptoms like food retention, stomach pain, belching, nausea, and vomiting. It can relieve appetite loss due to dyspepsia or discomfort due to overeating. Overall, it promotes the digestive function of the stomach, reducing symptoms like gastric bloating. Therefore, it is used for these gastrointestinal-related problems.
Adults should take 2 tablets per dose, three times a day after meals.
This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Additionally, patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication in the past, those taking other medications, patients with kidney or liver problems, and patients undergoing medical treatment should use it cautiously. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 4, so individuals allergic to this component should also be cautious. If allergic symptoms such as rash or itching occur while taking this medication, discontinue it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Rarely, symptoms such as palpitations, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, and headaches may occur, so if these symptoms appear, stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, constipation or dry mouth may also occur rarely, so caution is required. Symptoms such as palpitations or elevated liver function test results may also occur. Individuals with high blood pressure, older adults, those with heart or kidney issues, or those showing signs of edema should consult a professional before taking this medication. If there is a decrease in urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heavy eyelids, a feeling of stiffness in the hands, elevated blood pressure, or headaches while taking this medication, discontinue it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use of this medication may cause side effects like hypokalemia, edema, or weight gain, so it is essential to regularly check serum potassium levels. Hypokalemia may lead to symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis, so if these symptoms occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor. Taking this medication with potassium-containing substances, licorice, or specific diuretics increases the risk of side effects, so special caution is required when used in combination with these medications. Be sure to adhere to the specified usage and dosage, and if symptoms do not improve after taking it for about two weeks, discontinue and consult a healthcare professional. Avoid using this medication concurrently with gastrointestinal analgesics or antispasmodics. This medication is not to be used in children under 15 years old, and pregnant or potentially pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers should also avoid taking it. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed. Also, for quality preservation, it is advisable not to transfer it to other containers.
