Adult dosage

This medication must be taken after implementing appropriate lipid-lowering dietary therapy, which should continue during the treatment period. To avoid gastrointestinal disturbances, this medication should be taken with meals. The usual initial dose is 2g (2 capsules) daily, which can be increased to a maximum of 4g per day if needed. It can be taken once or twice a day.

This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to its components or by children under 18. Use with caution in patients at high risk of bleeding due to severe trauma or surgery, patients with impaired liver function, and those allergic to fish. While taking this medication, side effects such as indigestion, headache, dizziness, and skin rash may occur; consult a doctor immediately if unusual symptoms arise. It is important to check the triglyceride levels prior to starting treatment and to combine weight control, dietary therapy, and exercise. Serious side effects
