For hemostasis and improvement of associated symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and for improvement of symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease: 1-3g (approximately 20-60mL of this product) of sodium alginate is typically administered orally 3-4 times daily on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, nasogastric tube administration should be performed. For gastric biopsy bleeding: typically, 0.5-1.5g (approximately 10-30mL of this product) should be administered. Additionally, 1.5g (approximately 30mL) should be administered orally.

This medicine helps stop bleeding caused by gastric and duodenal ulcers or erosive gastritis, and improves associated symptoms. It also alleviates uncomfortable symptoms caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, and effectively controls bleeding that may occur during gastric biopsy. Therefore, it is widely used for the relief of gastrointestinal symptoms and the treatment of bleeding.

How to take

Adult dose

For hemostasis and improvement of associated symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and for improvement of symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease: 1-3g (approximately 20-60mL of this product) of sodium alginate is typically administered orally 3-4 times daily on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, nasogastric tube administration should be performed. For gastric biopsy bleeding: typically, 0.5-1.5g (approximately 10-30mL of this product) should be administered. Additionally, 1.5g (approximately 30mL) should be administered orally.

Precautions
