Precautions

This medicine should not be used in certain patients. Do not take this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to it or any of its ingredients. Patients with orthostatic hypotension or severe liver dysfunction should also refrain from using this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should not take this medicine. Patients with significantly poor kidney function or the elderly should use this medication cautiously. In particular, patients taking other antihypertensive medications or specific drugs should be careful as interactions may occur. Patients currently using alpha-1 blockers should use this medication cautiously and only under a doctor's judgment in special circumstances. Those with a history of micturition syncope should also use this medication with caution. Taking this medicine may cause various side effects such as dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, headaches, drowsiness, and low blood pressure, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, consult a doctor immediately. Rarely, allergic reactions like skin rashes or itching may occur, and if such symptoms arise, you should stop taking the medication. This medication may lower blood pressure, so be careful not to exceed the prescribed dose. Blood pressure may drop sharply when standing up, so it is safest to stand up slowly. While this medication helps relieve symptoms, it is not a fundamental treatment, so other treatments should be considered if necessary. Beware of dizziness when driving or working at heights. Those with a history of sulfa drug allergies should be particularly cautious when taking this medication. The safety and efficacy of this medicine have not been established for women or children under 18 years, so it is not used in these populations. The elderly should adjust the dosage according to kidney function, and if ineffective, alternative treatments should be sought. When taking this medicine, do not chew or crush the capsule or modified-release preparation; it should be taken whole with water. In particular, take it out of the PTP package instead of taking it directly to prevent esophageal damage. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container.
