This medication is used for the relief of symptoms associated with inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema and dermatitis, itching of the skin, and symptoms of insect bites.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (area of disease) 1 to 3 times a day and adjust dosage as needed according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used in the presence of bacteria, fungi, virus, or animal-caused skin infections as symptoms may worsen. People who are allergic or hypersensitive to this medication or its components should not use it. Patients with a perforated eardrum or eczematous otitis externa should be cautious as the healing can be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication on areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be delayed. This medication is not suitable for perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or non-inflammatory itching; therefore, it should not be used. Do not apply this medication broadly on the entire face, and do not use it directly in the eyes. Long-term continuous use should be avoided, and care should be taken when applying it to the chest area while breastfeeding to prevent the baby from being exposed to the medication. Women who are pregnant or potentially pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, must consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Children, especially infants under 2 years of age, should consult an expert before use, as prolonged use may lead to adrenal suppression or growth retardation. Rarely, serious side effects such as weight gain, increased blood sugar, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and glaucoma may occur due to this medication; inform a physician immediately if such symptoms arise. Care should be taken when applying to eyelid skin as intraocular pressure may increase or vision disturbances may occur. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue using this medication and consult a healthcare provider. Caution is needed with diapers or occlusive dressings, as excessive absorption of the drug may occur.
