This medicine is used for patients with hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy. It effectively lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

The standard dosage of this medication is 50 mg of losartan potassium / 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide, taken once daily as 1 tablet. Doses exceeding 100 mg of losartan potassium / 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide are not recommended. 1. Precautions

Caution is needed while driving or operating machinery, as dizziness or drowsiness may occur, especially during the initial stages of treatment or with dosage changes. Hives, severe swelling (edema), angioedema (laryngeal/pharyngeal swelling that can cause airway obstruction, swelling of the face/lips/pharynx/tongue), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, dyspnea, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, mucosal pain in the mouth/eyes, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, renal failure, skull formation abnormalities

Mild side effects

Abdominal pain, swelling, palpitations, back pain, dizziness, cough, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections, fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, headache, bronchitis, pharyngitis, angioedema (including swelling of the lips and eyelids and facial rash), chest pain, facial edema, fever, orthostatic hypotension, syncope, angina, arrhythmia (atrial fibrillation, sinus bradycardia, tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation), hypotension, myocardial infarction, secondary AV block, loss of appetite, constipation, tremor
