Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to any component of this medication. During the treatment, rare but serious allergic reactions such as shock or symptoms similar to anaphylaxis may occur; if symptoms appear, the medication should be stopped immediately, and consultation with a healthcare provider is necessary. There may be rare side effects involving a decrease in white blood cells or platelets, so it is important to periodically check the condition through blood tests. Hepatic dysfunction may occur, with elevated liver enzyme levels or symptoms of jaundice, so liver health should be monitored carefully. If skin allergic reactions such as hives, rashes, or itching occur, use of the medication should be discontinued and a professional consultation should be obtained. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or numbness may occur, so caution is required during activities like driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting may occur. If symptoms are severe, medical consultation is recommended. If there is a significant increase in liver enzymes or if fever and rashes accompany it, medication should be stopped immediately, and medical attention should be sought. There may be hematological adverse reactions such as thrombocytopenia or changes in white blood cell counts; regular blood tests are needed. Rare side effects such as breast pain, gynecomastia, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue numbness, cough, difficulty breathing, hair loss, or menstrual irregularities may occur, so medical consultation is advised if symptoms occur. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Women who are breastfeeding should avoid using this medication as it may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety for children, especially low-birth-weight infants, neonates, infants, and children, has not been sufficiently established, so caution should be exercised. Elderly patients may have decreased bodily functions, necessitating particular caution regarding side effects like gastrointestinal symptoms. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers to avoid accidents and maintain the quality of the drug.
