This medication is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and cold sensation caused by chronic arterial occlusion. It also helps to prevent recurrence after a cerebral infarction. Therefore, it is effective in improving vascular health and preventing the recurrence of cerebrovascular diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

As Cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 200 mg orally once a day. This medication is taken on an empty stomach, avoiding meals.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, hence the risk of angina symptoms should be carefully monitored for symptoms such as chest pain. It should not be used in patients with bleeding or a high risk of bleeding, nor in patients with heart failure or allergies to this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should not take this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or thrombolytics should be cautious as the risk of bleeding may increase.
