This medication is used for patients who need to take telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular mortality in patients over 55 years of age with essential hypertension and a high risk of cardiovascular diseases. Rosuvastatin is used for hypercholesterolemia and associated diseases, reducing cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels when dietary management is inadequate, thus slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. It also plays a role in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reconstruction procedures in men over 50 and women over 60 with cardiovascular disease risk. This medication effectively manages hypertension and hyperlipidemia, improving cardiovascular health.
