Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally 10 mg once daily to adults. Depending on symptoms, it can be administered 20 mg orally once daily. Typically, treatment lasts for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If untreated, it may be increased for an additional 8 weeks at 10 mg.

This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. It also alleviates symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease and is applicable for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease. For patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it enhances treatment effectiveness when combined with antibiotics. It can also control excessive gastric acid secretion in patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, it is effectively used for the treatment and symptom relief of various gastrointestinal-related diseases.

How to take

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally 10 mg once daily to adults. Depending on symptoms, it can be administered 20 mg orally once daily.
