This medicine is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or telmisartan. It effectively improves blood pressure, reducing the risk of complications.
The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, dose adjustment is not necessary for mild to moderate renal impairment, but for severe renal impairment, treatment should start at a lower dose and be gradually increased. Regular monitoring of potassium levels in the blood is particularly important when taken with potassium supplements or certain diuretics.
