This medication is designed for patients who need to take Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan is primarily used for the treatment of essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease deaths in elderly patients with a high risk of cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia and delays the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it is used to reduce the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in middle-aged and older patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease and surgical vascular interventions. The combination of these two medications effectively manages both hypertension and hyperlipidemia, preventing the occurrence and worsening of cardiovascular diseases.
