Reduction of (hypertension, cardiovascular disease risk) and improvement in hypercholesterolemia
This medication is used for patients who need to take both Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan helps treat hypertension and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease-related deaths in patients at high risk for heart disease. Rosuvastatin controls dyslipidemia such as hypercholesterolemia, slows the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in high-risk patients, as well as the risk of adverse effects after vascular interventions. By using these two medications together, it manages blood pressure and cholesterol, comprehensively improving the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this medication is used for the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases.

In patients with liver impairment, the dose should not exceed 40 mg once daily. Rosuvastatin Calcium: Primary hypercholesterolemia
