This medication is used for patients who need to take telmisartan and rosuvastatin simultaneously. Telmisartan treats hypertension and helps to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular mortality, especially in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Rosuvastatin is used to treat hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia when dietary control is insufficient, serving as an adjunct therapy. It is also effective in reducing the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction in patients at high cardiovascular risk and in slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. Therefore, this medication is used to improve cardiovascular health in patients with hypertension and dyslipidemia.
