Meronium Tablets 40 mg (Octylonium Bromide)

Adult dose

As Octylonium Bromide, take 40 mg by mouth 2-3 times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Firstly, patients who are hypersensitive to this medication should not take it. Secondly, this medication contains lactose, so it should not be given to patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Additionally, this medication should be used with caution in the following patients. In patients with glaucoma, care is needed as the ingredients of this medication may affect eye pressure. This medication contains the dye Sunset Yellow FCF, and patients who have had allergic or hypersensitive reactions to this ingredient should be careful before taking it.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air from entering and is best kept at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage helps maintain the medication's efficacy and safety.
