This drug is used in patients with essential hypertension who find it difficult to control blood pressure with a single medication. How to take

Precautions

Since this drug lowers blood pressure, caution should be exercised regarding dizziness or drowsiness when driving or operating dangerous machinery. Additionally, this drug may interact with other antihypertensive drugs, diuretics, lithium formulations, etc., so it is essential to inform the healthcare provider about any other medications being taken. It is important to periodically check the electrolyte levels, such as potassium, sodium, calcium, and kidney function through blood tests while taking this drug. Rare side effects such as skin rashes, headaches, dizziness, swelling, and dyspepsia may occur, and any unusual symptoms should be reported to a physician immediately. The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding; safer alternatives should be considered if necessary. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or cardiac problems may occur, and immediate medical attention is required.
