Improvement of chronic arterial occlusion (ulcers, pain, etc.) and prevention of recurrent cerebral infarction
Dual therapy combining cilostazol with ginkgo biloba extract is recommended as an alternative treatment when cilostazol monotherapy is insufficient. This dual therapy helps improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness caused by chronic arterial occlusion. Additionally, it is effective in preventing recurrence after cerebral infarction, except for cardiogenic cerebral embolism, allowing for more stable management of the patient's condition. This treatment improves blood circulation and contributes to prevention of recurrence, thereby enhancing the quality of life for patients. Therefore, it is appropriately used for patients with chronic arterial disease and cerebral infarction to aid in symptom improvement and prevention of recurrence.
The recommended dosage for adults is to administer cilostazol 100 milligrams and ginkgo biloba extract 80 milligrams twice daily in a combined dose. Typically, an adult takes one tablet orally twice a day.
