Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

The combination therapy of amlodipine and olmesartan medoxomil is used in patients with essential hypertension who find it difficult to control their blood pressure with existing treatments. These medications help to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the burden on the heart and blood vessels. The two components work together to effectively help manage blood pressure. Proper blood pressure control is crucial in preventing complications such as heart disease or stroke. Therefore, this combination therapy is utilized to improve the blood pressure of hypertension patients.
