This medication is used as an adjunct in patients with essential hypertension who are not sufficiently controlled on telmisartan alone to help control blood pressure. How to take

Adult dose

In patients who are not sufficiently controlled by telmisartan alone, take 1 tablet once daily with water, regardless of meal. It is recommended to adjust the dose of each component according to the individual before switching to this fixed-dose combination. Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination 40/12.5 mg may be administered to patients for whom blood pressure is not controlled with telmisartan 40 mg.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children under 18 years of age.

Precautions

This medication may pose serious risks to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed.
