Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or skin infections caused by animals. It should also not be administered to patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients. Patients with eczematous external otitis who have a perforated tympanic membrane should use this medication with caution, as it may delay wound healing. It is also not suitable for patients with skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. It is advisable not to use this medication for perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. It should not be administered to patients with itching around the anus or genitals. This medication should not be used in children under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should use it cautiously and consult with a doctor if necessary. Due to a higher risk of side effects, caution should be exercised when using this medication in children and elderly patients. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, which may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Long-term use or application over large areas may lead to various skin side effects such as skin infections, irritation, rash, and itching. In severe cases, it may cause skin thinning, vascular dilation, and symptoms like acne or dermatitis, so it is important to discontinue use immediately if symptoms appear. Furthermore, extensive use may affect hormone regulation in the body, leading to adrenal suppression, necessitating periodic evaluations. When used around the eyes, there may be a risk of increased intraocular pressure or the onset of serious eye diseases, so it should be avoided in the eye area. This medication should be used in conjunction with antifungal or antibacterial agents for eczema or dermatitis accompanying skin infections, and if symptoms do not improve, the medication should be discontinued. During pregnancy, the use of this medication in large amounts or over long periods can affect the fetus, so it must be used strictly under the guidance of a physician. If breastfeeding, consultation with a healthcare professional is advised before use as this medication can potentially be passed through breast milk. In children, the absorption of the drug relative to body weight is greater, increasing the risk of side effects, so it is preferable not to use it for longer than three weeks. Older adults have a higher incidence of side effects, hence regular observation and caution are required when using the medication. This product should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be applied after makeup or shaving, except for therapeutic purposes. When using occlusive dressings, it should be done under a doctor's supervision, and the affected area should be cleaned before application. Finally, it should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
