Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn when taken during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Individuals allergic to the active ingredients or similar components should not take this medication, and it should be avoided by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, or who are nursing. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, those with certain heart conditions, and those taking certain medications should use caution. While taking this medication, it may lower blood pressure too much, leading to dizziness or fainting, so if these symptoms occur, one should lie down immediately and seek treatment as needed. Patients with high potassium levels or those taking medications that can increase potassium should have their blood potassium levels monitored frequently. Patients with issues related to renal vasculature should have regular examinations, as kidney function may worsen. Caution should be exercised in patients with heart failure or those recovering from myocardial infarction, and cardiac and renal functions should be closely monitored. This medication may rarely cause allergic reactions like angioedema, leading to swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, so it should be stopped immediately if such symptoms develop. Dizziness or fatigue may occur while driving or operating machinery, so be cautious. There may be interactions with other medications, especially antihypertensives, potassium supplements, diuretics, and anti-inflammatory drugs, so consult with a doctor or pharmacist when combining medications. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and those who are nursing, should avoid using this medication. It is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently established. Elderly patients can use the same dosage as adults, but caution may be necessary depending on their condition. In case of overdose, symptoms such as dizziness, hypotension, and cardiac arrhythmias may occur, and immediate medical attention is necessary. It is important to regularly check blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels while taking this medication to ensure no abnormalities arise.
