Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with an allergy to this medication, severe liver impairment, certain hereditary diseases, or women of childbearing potential should not take this medication. Elderly patients, those with impaired kidney function, or patients with hyperkalemia should use this medication cautiously, ensuring that blood pressure does not drop too low. During treatment, symptoms such as dizziness may occur, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating hazardous machinery. Although this medication lowers blood pressure, it may occasionally cause side effects such as headache, muscle pain, indigestion, and cough. It’s important to regularly monitor liver function, kidney function, and electrolyte status through blood tests. Particularly, potassium levels may increase, so it is advisable not to take potassium supplements or medications containing potassium simultaneously. When combined with other antihypertensives, diuretics, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, potential interactions may occur, so consult with a physician or pharmacist. In case of overdose, hypotension, rapid heartbeat, or loss of consciousness may occur, so it is crucial to visit a medical institution immediately. It is recommended not to use this medication in children or patients with severely impaired kidney function, as safety has not been established. Store this medication out of reach of children and be cautious not to change the storage container arbitrarily.
