Improvement of eczema and dermatitis (itchy skin, insect bites)
This medication is used for eczema, dermatitis, itchy skin, and insect bites. It helps alleviate skin inflammation and reduces itching to improve skin comfort.
Shake well before use, then apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day, adjusting as necessary based on symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should not use it. Do not use in patients with otitis externa who have a perforated eardrum, as healing may be delayed. Avoid use in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite as skin healing may be delayed. It should also be avoided in cases of perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, and non-inflammatory itching. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should use this medication cautiously, and infants should use it only after consulting a physician. Elderly patients should also use it with caution due to a higher risk of side effects. This medication may cause skin infections; if symptoms appear, stop using it immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Various skin reactions such as skin irritation, rash, itching, and dryness may occur, so discontinue use if any symptoms arise. Long-term use may cause skin thinning or dilation of blood vessels, so the dosage should be gradually reduced. Using this medication extensively or with occlusive dressings for an extended period may cause systemic side effects, so regular check-ups are necessary. Care should be taken when using it around the eyes as it may increase intraocular pressure or cause glaucoma. Generally, this medication should not be used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by a skin infection, but if absolutely necessary, it should be combined with an antibiotic or discontinued immediately if an infection spreads. It is recommended to use this medication for no more than 7 days and to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. In pregnant or lactating women, the minimum dosage and duration should be considered to minimize effects on the fetus or infant. In children, there is a high risk of side effects such as adrenal suppression, so long-term use should be avoided, and care should be taken to avoid the occlusive dressing effect when using diapers. Elderly individuals should be closely monitored for side effects, especially with high doses or prolonged use. Overuse may lead to systemic side effects, so management should be according to clinical indications. It should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and after applying makeup or shaving, it should not be used unless for treatment purposes. Occlusive dressing techniques should be done under the supervision of a physician, and long-term use on facial skin should be avoided due to its sensitivity. Keep this medication out of reach of children.
