Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Shake well before use and apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (affected site) 1 to 3 times a day, adjusting according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication contains a steroid component used to relieve inflammation and itching that occurs on the skin. However, it should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals. It should also not be administered to patients who are allergic to this medication or its components, have a perforated eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, or specific skin conditions. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children (especially those under 2 years), and the elderly should exercise caution when using this medication. Prolonged or extensive use of this medication may worsen skin infections or cause various skin side effects. Additionally, long-term use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vasodilation, so strict adherence to dosage and duration is necessary. This medication can cause systemic side effects such as hormonal imbalance, increased blood sugar, and hypertension due to systemic absorption, so regular monitoring is essential, especially when applying to extensive areas. Care should be taken when using it near the eyes, as it may cause ophthalmic issues such as glaucoma or cataracts. Discontinue use promptly once symptoms improve, and if symptoms worsen or side effects occur, cease use immediately. The duration of use for this medication is typically limited to within 7 days, and sealed bandage methods should not be used without a doctor's guidance. Pregnant or nursing women should use the minimal dose and duration considering potential effects on the fetus or infant. Extra caution is necessary for children, as systemic absorption occurs more readily than in adults, increasing the risk of side effects; thus, long-term use should be avoided. The elderly also have a higher risk of side effects, requiring careful monitoring when used. Overuse may result in systemic side effects, so it should be managed appropriately under a doctor's direction. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and should not be used for non-treatment purposes such as after makeup or shaving. Keep out of reach of children to prevent safety accidents.
