This medication is used for relief of pain caused by degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis, as well as pain from periartritis of the shoulder, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

As aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush the tablets; swallow them whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse effects, administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, as combining it with alcohol can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Individuals with risk factors such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or smoking should be especially cautious and use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
