This medication helps relieve symptoms of inflammation, such as swelling, and is used to reduce swelling that may occur after trauma or surgery.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults and children over 12 years old: 100 mg of bromelain for each dose, taken twice a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia. Furthermore, patients with severe liver disease or kidney disease, particularly those undergoing hemodialysis, should avoid using this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents should be cautious as the risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication together. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid this medication since its safety has not been established. Children under the age of 12 should not take this medication.
