Neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disorders, and dizziness may occur when using this medication. Eye-related adverse symptoms such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dryness, itching, eye discharge, and ocular hyperemia may occur infrequently. Dryness of the nose or symptoms of rhinitis may appear, and dry mouth or contact dermatitis have been reported rarely. This medication may cause feelings of fatigue. In some patients, symptoms such as increased sensitivity in the eyes, weakness, cold symptoms, nausea, pharyngitis, sinusitis, skin rash, abdominal pain, liver dysfunction, increased blood pressure, changes in blood cell counts, and urinary difficulties may present. This drug contains phosphates, which have been rarely reported to potentially cause corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage. This medication is a non-sedating antihistamine, which may temporarily blur vision after use, so one should wait until vision returns to normal before driving or operating machinery. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually decrease the steroid dosage while on this medication, under a doctor's care. Seasonal allergy patients are advised to start using it before symptoms begin and continue until symptoms resolve. If there is no efficacy, long-term use should be avoided, and benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication may cause eye irritation and discoloration of contact lenses, so lenses should not be worn for at least 15 minutes after instillation. It is recommended to avoid wearing contact lenses if the eyes are red. During pregnancy, the effects on the fetus have not been completely confirmed, so it should be used cautiously based on a doctor's decision, and during breastfeeding, the potential effects on the baby should also be considered. The safety and efficacy in children under the age of 3 have not been established, so caution is required. No special dosage adjustment is needed for the elderly. This medication is intended for local use in the eyes only and should not be administered by other routes. Care should be taken to avoid having the tip of the container touch the eyes or other surfaces, and the cap should be closed tightly after use. If used with other eye drops, a minimum interval of 5 minutes should be maintained, and if ointment is used, it should be applied last. Store away from direct sunlight in a cool place and keep out of the reach of children. In case of an overdose, appropriate observation and management are necessary.
