This medication is used for the relief of pain in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), pericapsulitis, back pain, sciatica, and pain due to non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

As Aseclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. This medication should be taken whole, without chewing or breaking it. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions of this medication, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so patients with cardiovascular risk factors such as heart failure, hypertension, or diabetes should use it cautiously. Serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur, especially in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease. Individuals with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, allergies to this drug or similar drugs, pregnant women in late pregnancy, and lactating mothers should not use this medication. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, hypertension, heart failure, and the elderly should be more closely monitored when administering this drug. If symptoms such as dizziness, skin rash, shortness of breath, or gastrointestinal bleeding occur during use, consult a medical professional immediately.
