Treatment of peripheral artery circulatory disorders (intermittent claudication) and organic brain function disorders (tinnitus, headache, etc.)
This medication is used to treat symptoms of intermittent claudication caused by peripheral artery circulatory disorders. It also improves dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus symptoms. It is effective for symptoms of organic brain function disorders accompanied by dementia-like symptoms, such as tinnitus, headache, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. It helps alleviate various neurological and vascular-related symptoms, improving the quality of life for patients. Overall, it is used to improve blood circulation and treat related symptoms.
1) Peripheral artery circulatory disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: as Ginkgo leaf extract, 40 mg orally three times a day or 80 mg orally twice a day. 2) Organic brain function disorders: as Ginkgo leaf extract, 40-80 mg orally three times a day or 120 mg orally twice a day. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with allergies to specific ingredients. It is not recommended for children under 12 due to insufficient experience with its use. Although animal studies have shown no teratogenic effects, caution is advised for pregnant women due to limited human experience. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose digestion should avoid it. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult a specialist before taking this medication, as it is not known if it passes into breast milk. Individuals scheduled for surgery should discontinue this medication and consult their healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve or get worse after three months, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur; if unusual symptoms arise, stop taking the medication and seek advice. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching have been reported; caution is advised if these occur. Rarely, severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis may occur; if symptoms are severe, seek medical attention immediately. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension; patients with severe hypertension should avoid using it. Keep out of reach of children and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
