How to take

Adult dose

As dexibuprofen, take 300 mg orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed a total of 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen in one day.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding if taken regularly by individuals who consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day; therefore, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication can increase the risk to the cardiovascular system, and patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be particularly vigilant and closely monitor for cardiovascular symptoms with their doctor. Drug interactions

This medication should not be used with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin, or high doses of methotrexate. Corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants, baclofen, immunosuppressants, thrombolytics, ticlopidine, anticoagulants, and potassium concentrations in the blood are also included.
