Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Combination therapy with Amlodipine and Olmesartan Medoxomil is used when blood pressure control is insufficient in patients with essential hypertension. These medications help to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. By using both drugs together, blood pressure can be controlled more effectively. This reduces the risk of heart and vascular complications and improves health; therefore, it plays an important role in the treatment of essential hypertension.
