This medication is used for the relief of pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), periarthritis of the shoulder, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

As Aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush this medication; take it whole. To minimize the risk of cardiovascular adverse reactions, the lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who consume large amounts of alcohol daily, so it should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, therefore, patients with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes should use it with caution. It can cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, particularly in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, so it should be taken carefully. Patients with active peptic ulcer or bleeding, and those allergic to this medication or similar drugs should not take this medication. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, heart failure, pregnant women in the late stage of pregnancy, nursing mothers, and patients with inflammatory bowel disease should not use this medication or should use it with extreme caution. Various side effects such as dizziness, skin rash, abnormal liver function, indigestion, increased blood pressure may occur during the use of this medication, and if any abnormal symptoms appear, medical consultation should be sought immediately. There may be interactions with other medications, so patients taking medications such as antihypertensives, diuretics, anticoagulants, or diabetes medications should consult with a physician.
