Improvement of selenium deficiency
This medicine effectively supplies the lacking nutrients by supplementing selenium for patients with selenium deficiency that cannot be compensated through nutritional intake. It helps improve symptoms caused by selenium deficiency and maintains normal bodily functions.
Take 100µg (2mL) of selenium per day, with a possible increase to 200µg (4mL) of selenium per day. Hold the oral liquid in the mouth for about 30 seconds to 1 minute before swallowing slowly.
This medicine should not be taken by persons who have allergic reactions to this drug or its components. Infants under 12 months of age should also not use this medicine. Patients with selenium toxicity should avoid this medicine. During the course of taking this medicine, do not take reducing agents like Vitamin C concurrently. If Vitamin C needs to be taken, it should be separated by about 4 hours from this medicine. Individuals with heart or circulatory issues, kidney dysfunction, or low protein levels must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult with a specialist before using this medicine. It is advisable for nursing mothers to consult a specialist before taking this medicine as well. If symptoms do not improve after one month of taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms like dermatitis, foul odor during sweating or breathing, hair loss, anxiety, vomiting occur during use, discontinue taking the medicine and consult a physician. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking immediately. Overdose may lead to a garlic-like smell from the mouth, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and prolonged overuse may affect nail and hair growth and cause neurological disorders. In cases of overdose, gastric lavage, diuresis, and high-dose Vitamin C may be necessary, and in severe cases, dialysis may be required. In such cases, the specific antidote dimercaprol should not be used. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration and should only be taken orally; it should not be used as an injection. Store out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. If the medicine is removed from its original container and placed into another, it may lead to misuse or degradation of quality, so it should be kept tightly closed in its original container.
Allergic reaction
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not take this medicine with reducing agents such as Vitamin C. If Vitamin C is to be taken, it should be taken about 4 hours apart from this medicine.
This medicine may be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. Additionally, to maintain the efficacy of the medicine, it is advisable to store it at a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
