Treatment of dermatophyte infections (such as tinea pedis, tinea corporis, etc.) and pityriasis versicolor, and skin candidiasis
This medication is used for the treatment of tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, and Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also effective against pityriasis versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and skin candidiasis. It helps improve various dermatophyte infections.
Apply 1 to 2 times a day to the affected area. The treatment duration according to the condition is as follows: 1. Tinea Pedis - Interdigital type: Apply twice a day for 1 week - Plantar type: Apply twice a day for 2 weeks 2. Tinea Corporis, Tinea Cruris: 1 to 2 weeks 3. Skin Candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks 4. Pityriasis Versicolor: 2 weeks If symptoms do not improve after the treatment period, reevaluation is necessary.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to specific ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and breastfeeding women should also avoid using this medication. It is advisable not to use this medication in children. This medication contains propylene glycol, so individuals with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as rash, worsening irritation, skin redness, itching, hives, skin peeling, crusting over wounds, discoloration, pain, or burning sensations occur while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is recommended to bring the medication's leaflet when consulting. Without a doctor's instruction, it is important not to use this medication with sealed bandages or wrapping methods. If there is no effect after using this medication, a fungal infection should be tested, and alternative treatments may be needed. It is advisable not to use acidic soaps in cases of candidiasis. When applying to unbroken skin, this medication is less likely to be absorbed systemically, reducing the risk of systemic side effects, but caution should be exercised when applying to wound areas, large areas, or in infants as systemic side effects may occur. If this medication is ingested by accident, first remove the active ingredients using activated charcoal and seek appropriate treatment for any symptoms as needed. This medication must be used topically and should not come into contact with eyes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, as rarely, eye infections may worsen. It is advisable not to use this medication on nails, scalp, around the mouth, or in the vaginal area. Animal studies suggest that this medication may cause slight phototoxic reactions, so caution is needed when exposed to sunlight. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and it is safest to keep it sealed in its original container. Transferring to another container may result in misuse or degradation of quality.
