This medication should not be used in patients who have had hypersensitivity to any of its components. Serious allergic reactions, such as shock or anaphylaxis, may occur infrequently with this medication; if any symptoms arise, administration should be immediately discontinued and appropriate treatment should be provided. Additionally, since white blood cell or platelet counts may decrease, regular blood tests should be conducted to monitor the condition. There may be liver function abnormalities resulting in elevated liver enzyme levels or jaundice symptoms, so periodic liver function tests are also important. Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rashes, itching, and hives may occur, and if these symptoms arise, use should be discontinued. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and numbness may occur, so caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and abdominal pain may occur; if discomfort is severe, consult a physician. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety is not certain. Nursing mothers are advised to avoid breastfeeding while taking this medication, as it can be passed through breast milk. Safety in children and newborns has not been sufficiently established, so special caution is needed. For elderly patients, physical functions may be weakened, so more attention should be paid to gastrointestinal symptoms and adverse reactions. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children, and care should be taken to avoid transferring it to containers other than the original packaging, as this might compromise its quality.
Shock, symptoms resembling anaphylaxis (including hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness), leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, liver dysfunction, jaundice, paralysis, respiratory distress, edema
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that protects it from light. Additionally, to maintain its efficacy, it is important to store it at a temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, which is room temperature. Doing so will help to keep the quality of the medication for a long time and ensure safe usage.
