Jongkundang Glycerin Syrup (Choline Alphoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg (1 sachet) of choline alfoscerate orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or its components. Additionally, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, nausea may occur due to its effect on the neurotransmitter dopamine. If such symptoms arise, the dosage should be reduced. It can affect the digestive system, possibly leading to gastritis or related diseases. Furthermore, it may have effects on the psychiatric and nervous systems, potentially causing drowsiness, insomnia, irritability or nervousness, and in severe cases, convulsions or excessive movements. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or degrade the quality of the medication.
