How to take

Adult dose

This medication is in sustained-release tablet form and should be taken whole without crushing, dividing, or chewing. Take 1 tablet (containing 75mg of eperisone hydrochloride) orally after meals, twice a day. Adjust as appropriate based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This drug should not be used by individuals who are allergic to it or by patients with severe myasthenia gravis. Patients with a history of drug allergies or poor liver function should exercise caution when using this drug. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, itching, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing appear while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Rarely, severe skin conditions like toxic epidermal necrolysis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome can occur, so symptoms like fever, skin rash, blisters, conjunctival injection, and oral inflammation should be monitored closely. Abnormal liver function, kidney dysfunction, and blood abnormalities have also been reported, so any changes in body condition should be communicated immediately. Dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dyspepsia, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal pain may occur while taking this medication; therefore, care should be taken in daily life. Particularly, drowsiness or decreased concentration may occur, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication under medical supervision, as its safety during pregnancy has not been fully established. It is recommended that breastfeeding women avoid using this medication whenever possible, and if unavoidable, breastfeeding should be discontinued. The safety of this medication in children has not been sufficiently established, so it should be administered with caution to children.
