How to take

Adult dose

This medication is a controlled-release tablet and should be taken whole without crushing, dividing, or chewing. Adults should take 1 tablet (75 mg of eperisone hydrochloride) orally, twice a day after meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in individuals with allergic reactions or severe myasthenia gravis. Patients who have previously had an allergy to this medication or have impaired liver function should use it with caution. In rare cases, serious allergic reactions may occur, showing severe skin rashes, blisters, itching, eye redness, or oral inflammation; if any of these symptoms appear, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention sought. Liver or kidney function may be adversely affected, so the patient's condition should be monitored closely, and if any abnormal symptoms occur, the medication should be discontinued and treatment sought.
