Relief of painful muscle spasms in musculoskeletal disorders (cervical shoulder syndrome, periarthritis of the shoulder)
This medication is used for the treatment of painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal disorders, such as cervical shoulder syndrome, periarthritis of the shoulder, and low back pain.
This medication is a sustained-release tablet and should be taken whole, without crushing, splitting, or chewing. Adults: Take 1 tablet (75mg of eperisone hydrochloride) orally after meals, twice daily. Adjust according to age and symptoms.
It is safe not to use this medicine in patients who have had allergic reactions to it or in patients with myasthenia gravis. It should be administered cautiously in patients who have previously had hypersensitivity to drugs or those with impaired liver function, as there may be a risk of worsening liver function. During the treatment, rare but severe allergic reactions or serious skin abnormalities may occur, and if symptoms such as rash, itching, redness, swelling, or difficulty in breathing arise, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical assistance sought. If symptoms such as stomatitis, fever, blisters, or conjunctival injection occur, the administration should be stopped immediately, and appropriate treatment should be received. This medication may affect the liver and kidneys; therefore, if any unusual symptoms arise, consult a doctor, as gastrointestinal symptoms such as insomnia, drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhea may occasionally occur. During treatment, symptoms such as dizziness, weakness, or unsteadiness may appear, and if these symptoms occur, it is advisable to reduce or discontinue the dosage. Drowsiness or decreased concentration may occur during treatment; therefore, it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. For women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, the safety of this medication has not been established; therefore, it should be used cautiously after consulting a doctor. For nursing mothers, it is advisable to avoid administration or cease breastfeeding if unavoidable. There is limited experience in the use of this medication in children, and its safety has not been established, so caution is necessary. Elderly patients may have reduced physiological function; therefore, dosage adjustments or caution should be exercised when using this medication.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius to ensure the medication's effectiveness.
