Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to its components. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur during treatment, so if unusual symptoms appear, administration should be discontinued immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. Also, there may be a decrease in white blood cell or platelet count, so blood status should be closely monitored. As it can affect liver function, if liver function test values rise or jaundice symptoms appear, administration should be stopped. If skin reactions such as rash, urticaria, or itching occur, it is necessary to stop taking the medication. Nervous system symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and numbness may occur, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and nausea may also occur. If liver enzyme levels rise significantly or are accompanied by fever or rash, the medication should be discontinued and medical advice should be sought. Regular checks of white blood cell or platelet count variations in blood tests are advisable. Various side effects such as breast pain, palpitations, fever, and hair loss may occur, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication if the therapeutic benefit outweighs potential risks, as safety has not been established. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid breastfeeding as this drug may be excreted in breast milk. Caution is needed for children, especially low birth weight infants, neonates, and infants, as its safety has not been thoroughly established in these populations. Elderly patients generally have a similar incidence of adverse reactions but should be more cautious regarding gastrointestinal symptoms due to decreased bodily functions. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or quality deterioration.
