View approved original text

This medication is used for the treatment of male pattern baldness, particularly occurring in adult men, especially between the ages of 18 and 41, which is known as androgenic alopecia. This condition is a disorder in which hair gradually thins and falls out due to genetic factors and hormonal changes, resulting in hair loss. The drug helps to slow or stop the progression of this hair loss, which improves hair health. With consistent use, it can enhance hair density and promote hair growth in balding areas. It is crucial for patients to take the medication regularly to maximize treatment efficacy. Therefore, this drug is used for the treatment of male pattern baldness.
