Precautions

This medication is a steroid used for topical application, which helps to reduce inflammation and alleviate itching. However, it should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. People who are allergic to this medication or have had hypersensitivity reactions should avoid using it. In cases where there is a perforation in the eardrum, using this medication may delay healing and increase the risk of infection; caution is advised. It should be avoided in patients with skin ulcers or severe burns or frostbite, as it may interfere with skin regeneration. It is also advisable to refrain from using this medication if there is inflammation around the mouth, acne, or rosacea. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and those who are breastfeeding should use this medication cautiously and consult a doctor if necessary. Children and the elderly may experience side effects more easily, so careful attention is needed when using this medication. Long-term use may lead to skin thinning or side effects such as acne, skin irritation, rashes, itching, flushing, etc., so if any symptoms appear, usage should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted. Additionally, long-term or extensive use of this medication may affect the overall hormonal balance in the body, so regular check-ups may be required. When using near the eyes, there is a risk of increasing intraocular pressure or causing eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts, so caution is advised, and care should be taken to avoid direct contact with the eyes. For eczema or dermatitis accompanied by a skin infection, it is preferable to treat first with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal medications before using or in combination with this medication. Once symptoms improve, usage should be discontinued as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen or do not improve, medication use should stop immediately and consultation with a doctor should be sought. This medication is not for ophthalmic use, and it should be avoided for purposes other than treatment after makeup or shaving. Sealing therapy should be used as directed by a doctor, and keeping the affected area clean before application is important for infection prevention. Keep this medication out of the reach of children to prevent safety accidents. Finally, caution is needed if psoriasis patients use this medication in large amounts for a long time, as it may lead to psoriasiform erythroderma or pustular psoriasis.
